Great question..and one I don't know the answer to. If I remember, the listed scent notes were very similar (missing maybe one?). Sascoman   can you weigh in, please?

If you love O2 I’d be shocked if you didn’t love OG as much or more.  To me the OG is GD GOAT

To me O and O2 are similar but truthfully different

To me O2 has a more perfumed profile - love it but it’s not the OG ….
Thanks for the clarification! Mo didn’t say when Ousia is coming back. When it does, I’ll be sure to make a multiple puck order. It’s a unique scent that’s so enjoyable.

No. 89 (Floris) citrus fougère
Shave 9 ・ 120 g left

Floris No. 89 takes its name from the address of the firm’s shop on Jermyn Street, London, where it has been located for well over a century. The fragrance is a relative newcomer on the scene, having only been around since 1951. In keeping with the fougère structure, it combines the expected trio of citrus, lavender, and oakmoss, but then it ascends to even greater heights by the addition of rose, cedar, and sandalwood. A generous dash of nutmeg imparts a tasteful spiciness.

Nero, I want to say thanks for reminding me about Ethos First Lather. It’s a product worth trying. For those who may not know, a few months ago, Frank came up with a lather boosting compound specifically designed to enhance the texture and slickness of thin and airy soaps. It comes in a convenient stick form, similar to deodorant. To use it, just rub the stick on the spot where you plan to build your lather, load your brush with soap, and go to.

To be honest, my first trial was not a very rewarding experience. I was hoping to redeem that bane of all lather masters – Eucris – but the results were not encouraging. So, I placed the booster on the highest shelf and completely forgot about it. Dumb me! But today I decided to give it another chance. I used it with No. 89, and the results were great. The lather was noticeably denser and slicker compared to yesterday’s shave with the same soap. I’m glad I gave it another shot, and now I’m excited to continue using it. Thanks again for bringing it back to my attention.

Glad to hear it, Bouki!
Thanks for correcting me, I knew I had the wrong name, looking at it after.
I have a stick of it floating around too somewhere, which I'll need to dig out.
I don't have any of those bad GFT pucks any more, but I've had more than my neighborhood's share in the past and could do nothing to conjure up a nice lather. Slick as anything, to be truthful, but no protection/cushion whatsoever. Also, usually a strong waxy feeling afterwards. (Let's not forget the disappearing lather.) The crazy thing is I WANT to try again. Sick, aren't we!

Truefitt & Hill - Trafalgar cream

Just picked this up again, along with the 1805 cream. It was in one of my earliest orders almost 10 years ago (this fall), so it brings me back to that sense of excitement for a new hobby.
"Spicy, light, and captivating with top notes of Cedar and Sandalwood complemented by subtle hints of Jasmine and Spice."
To me, it's not any one of those things... rather a unique accord. [Image: 93e1dbea8ea97b5dc75a4e93061691da.jpg]
