Elite is a vibrant green fougère that may interest those who enjoy Geoffrey Beene’s Grey Flannel (1972). Both scents feature a woody foundation layered with lush, leafy aromas. However, while Grey Flannel has some noticeable rough edges and feels somewhat outdated (yes, I smell the mothballs), Elite (1980) is considerably smoother. It opens with a lively burst of citrus at the top, which keeps the fragrance’s woody notes afloat. That’s not to say there’s nothing happening beneath the surface. In fact, there’s a lovely mossy quality down there, a rarity in most modern fougères. So, if you’re looking for an aromatic fougère with lots of green but only a gentle spiciness, Elite may be an excellent starting point.

I haven't tried the Grey Flannel, but I like the soap very much paired with the Floris Elite EDT.  For reasons I can't put my finger on, the scent takes me back to younger days. Confused2

I was in a bit of a rush today, so I resorted to a cream - Kaloderma.
I've only ever seen it in the little drugstore in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia, where I bought it.

It has a bit of chamomile in it.

Razor: Vector Titanium
Blade: Feather Pro
Brush: Semogue Galahad/Boar
Soap: Ethos Peppermint
AS 1: Witch Hazel

Every time I use Ethos I wonder why I use anything else...........of yeah, gotta use up all that other soap too. Face feels amazing and cooled for a warm day. Have a Polished by Blackland Vector Titanium coming to the den which I'm excited about since they are no longer available in that finish. Take care everyone !

I agree with you Dave.. ain’t nothing like a nice cooling shave on a hot day. I probably use the Peppermint & Greenfresh 3 out of 5 shaves all summer long. An thank you for the kind words my friend.

Agree, definitely a scent that sets the stage. Reminds me of being a kid, on Easter break in Florida... not sure what it is, but a strong connection.
