What soap/cream did you use today?

Declaration Grooming - Confluence (Milksteak)

When given a proper load, hydration, and smacking around, Milksteak is hard to beat. And Confluence is a great scent (deep resinous woods)... So I guess this is one of my favorite soaps. The splash is extremely strong, I actually won't put it on my face any more... I use it as a cologne on my wrists and shirt.

I agree 100%. One of may favorites. I recall reading somewhere that Cheshire is also Will's (B&M) favorite scent in his own line.

This may be one of Will’s favs but I question why he sent all the animals packing? I’m dropping the stag off in Fedsbackhand back yard whilst I’m here in London.  I think I read somewhere he’s an animal lover lolololololol

One day Will is going to chime in and read about the fate of all the animals he put out on the streets…..

We’ve heard from some folks that they prefer our older packaging style with the topographic animal silhouettes; many have asked that we return to them on a limited basis, or offer our products in both. While we appreciate the nostalgia, the packaging absolutely could not stay as it was. It didn’t comply with the EU, it was incomplete and cumbersome, and, with the bankruptcy of the graphics firm that designed it, we have no way to create any more such labels, which has been a problem for many years. Our limited edition and seasonal fragrances will still be offered with more individualized and whimsical labeling, but this new packaging scheme for our year-round products is here to stay.


Like you, I prefer the older labels. As long as he keeps putting the good stuff inside the jar, I can live with it.

Allowing this reply to sink into my thick skull because I haven’t accepted the animals are gone on the year round products, rather these cold and un-inviting (like the decor in my lounge at home) labels. But I agree, the good stuff is inside, Will knows his craft!  I guess I’ll finalise some purchases at stockists with the limited supply of old packaging on hand and refill…. sigh

Know what I would like to see one day? A prominent Soaper holding a live focus group here at DFS.  You know, for community input and camaraderie.  What was the slogan at Marshall Fields Department Store? “Give the Lady what she wants?”  Do we do that anymore, customer care/service? TheHunter
