Grooming Dept. - "Soap"....this time a different flavor and base.

First time using a GD mallard soap, and what a delight it is. I might have gotten a little too aggressive with the water, adding too fast. Even still, the resulting lather was slicker than greased monkey snot. Although it wasn't the plan, I ended up doing my entire shave with just one application of lather. A few splashes of water rubbed in during the shave was all it took to keep the party rollin'. The residual slickness was still very protective and allowed me to shave stupidly. The real shining star of this base is the post shave feel. My face feels very soft and moisturized.

I did a palm lather with SOAP yesterday after it was delivered. As hard as I tried, I couldn't come up with anything other than it smells like a high quality bar of soap. And this soap is SLICK.

Yeah...what he said!  Big Grin

You couldn't find a more unqualified scent sniffer than me. It's fresh and light, but does have the slightest tinge of woodiness in there. Like all of Mo's scents, it's very well blended, and I get the same vibe as AlphaFrank75  - it smells like high quality bar soap. Unlike bar soap, though, the scent has been hanging around persistently. If you like clean and fresh scents, you wouldn't be disappointed.

When given a proper load, hydration, and smacking around, Milksteak is hard to beat. And Confluence is a great scent (deep resinous woods)... So I guess this is one of my favorite soaps. The splash is extremely strong, I actually won't put it on my face any more... I use it as a cologne on my wrists and shirt.

I love the pipe smoke scent.  It's aromatic, smoke with a hint of sweetness.

Wholly Kaw - Dulci Tobacco (Siero base - hard soap) - Great base. Great scent. Only thing it needs, imo, is a matching EDT or EDP   Smile
