Last night I had a couple of sons and their families over for Sunday Dinner.  I have to work them in a family or two at a time because there are getting to be so many of them.  Last night the number was 6 adults and 8 kids so the grill was smoking for awhile.  Of course what used to be one protein is now 4 so I was minding a lot of fires at once but that new Weber grill my girlfriend got me is big and can handle more than I can keep up with!  It was an excellent evening.  I suppose 36 years married to this woman has been so worth it!
Both of the Duaghters-in-law wet shave but one of them also supplies her three teen daughters with supplies so soap disappears fast.  I let her stick her nose in some soaps to take homewith her and the girls and she chose a tub of crowne and Crane Spruce, a tub of B&M velvet, and two tubs of Caties Bubbles La Terre Verte and Le Marche du Rasage.  So long good soaps!
That evening her husband was on live turning some brushes and Chris Cullen stopped in and we got to chat.  I shared that two nice soaps found a new home but I still had the delicious Dirty Prose and the amazing Grapefroot.  And that brought me to this mornings choice.  Dirty Prose is a rose scent layered over some aged patchouli and some Cade cedar and man is it tasty.  Then to follow it with the splash was fire! Tomorrow I may have to roll out the grapefroot (citrus and Vetiver) Just for fun I dug out the gem razor and was pleased with the shave it offered.

And this weekend I saw something I’ll not likely see again.  This fox was hunting from the top rail of this Jack leg fence.  He moved like a cat up there.  Watched him for a half hour before he moved on.

Chypre (West Coast Shaving) citrus resin
Shave 3 ・ 118 g left

Chypre is a delightful fragrance that beautifully blends citrus and resin notes. It’s bright without being flighty, and suits the last days of spring perfectly. It has some legs, too. I’m still catching fragrant whiffs hours after my shave. One tub of this soap will probably not be enough.

Razor: Asylum Injector Razor
Blade: Schick
Brush: Trotter "Kickflip"/Synthetic
Soap: Sir Henry's Kentucky Rain
AS 1: Witch Hazel
AS 2: Small Batch Shave Tonic
Fragrance:
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1,680

So after 2 shaves that were less than satisfying with the Rx Injector Razor using the Schick Krona Stainless blades I swapped out for another Schick Blade (I have the B20's but seldom care for them). Not sure which Schick it is but it's in the pic. I don't know if they are vintage or modern ones. I think it may be similar to the Yellow pack but it's a 15 cartridge instead of a 7 and I forget how I came by them. All that aside, I finally got a shave I was hoping for from this razor. I immediately felt like the blade was sharper on the 1st strokes and by the 2nd pass I could tell as I usually can that I was getting a good shave. It is a milder Injector Razor for sure and I still think the Type "O" would beat it out but with some effort and a sharp blade this Modern Injector has the goods........at least for this shave, to keep it around and enjoy it. So glad I could join the "cool kids" table finally  Big Grin Everyone have a great day !

Said so on video and review on your site. KY Boy don't lie. I really enjoyed the scent when received but it continues to grow on me. Great Job Dom !!

PS - I'm trying to put a dent in it, the soap is still up to the brim Big Grin
