Updated Kairos base that easily stands with Kairos SE. Beautiful creamy lather and post shave. 

A rich lemon surrounded by soft woods and a touch of floral. Scent is remarkably good. GroomingDept is right up there with a couple others in my den at the moment.

I liked and wondered and pondered about this soap for way too long.  Stirling is a great performer and the blue appearance of this flavor was appealing.  So…….I bought it and it’s………….pleasant.  It’s nice and unassuming.  It’s not offensive.  Its performance is predictably good.  But as far as scents that speak to me, this one offers no mental trips or adolescent reminders, or noggin-tickling notes.  It just IS.  Now I get it, some gents love this flavor and by no means am I insinuating their olfactory apparatus is broken.  Live like you gotta live baby!  But Island Man is a soap that if a son comes to steal from the horde I’d be happy for him to choose this one.  In fact I may have to nudge one of them to drag it home.  I’ve too many others that tickle me to spend time with something that doesn’t.  That wee brush in the big green tub though, felt like a dingy in the middle of the Indian Ocean.
