What soap/cream did you use today?

Two days without a post?  Yesterdays shave was one of my favorite scents of all time Murphy and McNeil (name almost as unwieldy as Through the Fire………) but the soap is good and Ouroboros is just excellent and a scent class that isn’t nearly represented enough. Orientals are all but ignored in favor of aromatic fougere. But anyway, when I got this soap it was meh at best. Soft and runny. But I cooked it a bit and it turned out beautifully. 

Today?  I had to give the nod to BBB and although not my favorite scent it’s a good one and the soap is excellent.

A year has passed since I ordered this soap, and over the course of twelve months, good things have happened. The scent, which hit me at first like a punch in the gut, has mellowed over the months into a fabulous blend of citrus, tobacco, and leather. I almost gave this soap away last May, but now I'm convinced it's a keeper. 

Dragonsbeard, do you have plans to add any more items to your humidor collection?

Yes, in the Fall I plan to add the other products like serum, lotion and bath bars in the Mandarino Fumo.

I will echo your comment and I find that certain aromas get better with age. An example would be like real wood oils like Sandalwood and Oud that not only get better with age they become more desirable an increase in value. So some blends will change with time wether richer, deeper, brighter, mellow or diminish in scent strength.etc. etc.u
