SOAP

My main man dropped me this puck - and reminded me that it had some rose in it. Another good "clean" blend fragrance - definitely not grandma, but like an expensive boutique soap.

Thanks for the 'SOAP' brother!

Clay Face
Honolulu, Hawaii
Sanctum (Oaken Lab) wood & pepper
Shave 2 ・ 96% left

Sanctum is to the olfactory arts what meditation is to a cluttered mind: a chance to create a void. The scent is mild. Notes include “dusty light, blank paper, sandalwood, stillness.” You get the idea. Not really much here beyond black pepper and a few slivers of wood. The lather is splendid, but only minimalists will appreciate the rarefied scent. It may be best to save this soap for a humid summer day when the fragrance comes out more.

Been using the ADP cream this a fair amount since I got it two weeks ago.  It's pricey stuff but it sure does give a fantastic shave.  Rich, smooth, and the results are spot on.  And the slightly citrus / slightly bergamot Colonia-style scent is leading me to believe it will be my go-to all summer.

Geo. F. Trumper - Violet cream

Figured I should use this a few times before it becomes irrelevant, thanks to Frank Big Grin

About 70 and dry with a light breeze, great day for a bike ride. With the boy.

If one reads some of our shaving community reviews of this particular puck, a practical surmise would be that this would be a 'risky' purchase as related to it's stank. Man, it may be in the top 5 B&M offerings for me. Quite strong of the puck and post shave-but a good blend of green-floral-fresh notes with a bitter finish that is intriguing.  I am hooked and it will be a commonly used lather for me this year. Quite a good all-rounder.

And the base - galactic okra snot!
