Southern Witchcrafts makes an excellent vegan soap base and this one is a great scent. I enjoy this B6 and see why it gets its praise.

I'm always impressed with how good the Winning Razor is with the Ti Crown Handle. This is coming from a guy that owns a Blackland Blackbird Ti, Karve SS Overland, Tatara Masamune, and a Wolfman WR2 1.55.

Definitely one of the best vegan bases I've ever tried, alongside GD Nai.

Clay Face

Seaforth! Fleur de France (Spearhead) powdery rosemary
Shave 17 ・ 72% left

Since its appearance in 1880, Pinaud’s classic Lilac Vegetal – or “The Veg” as it is fondly known – has strongly divided opinions among connoisseurs of fragrance. While some discern springlike notes of lilac and musk, others are quick to detect off-notes of stale water, swamp gas, and cat urine. Odd that there should be such a wide divergence. But part, if not most of The Veg’s reek can be attributed to the plastic bottle it comes in. Decanting the soap into a glass bottle eliminates nearly all the skank.

Recently, an inquiry was made about a soap that would complement Lilac Vegetal (primotenore). What first came to my small mind was Spearhead’s Seaforth! Fleur de France. Though the scent of Fleur de France may differ from The Veg, its herby, powdery notes, and strong musk undertones complement Lilac Vegetal quite well. Together, these two hefty fragrances combine to evoke the essence of a garden in early spring.

If one reads some of our shaving community reviews of this particular puck, a practical surmise would be that this would be a 'risky' purchase as related to it's stank. Man, it may be in the top 5 B&M offerings for me. Quite strong of the puck and post shave-but a good blend of green-floral-fresh notes with a bitter finish that is intriguing. I am hooked and it will be a commonly used lather for me this year. Quite a good all-rounder.

And the base - galactic okra snot!

42 risky? That's one fine sniffin' stank, Tommy! Love the stuff. I pick up more of the lemon and sugary sweet notes.

The Holy Black - Tangerine Creeper (Secret Stash)

Crisp, breezy and light, not juicy or tart. Perfect for a calm evening in the 50s. The "Creeper" is the cooling agent, and it's probably 3-4 out of 10 strength, which is perfect again for this evening.

Super easy shave, btw... Great soap.

For my first time ever, today I "skinned" (climbed uphill with a "touring" ski setup). Great workout and a payoff of the downhill descent to cap it off.
