Yesterday, I found a package in my mailbox containing Knize Ten shaving soap. I can’t imagine how it got there. It came in an unfinished beech bowl that stands taller than D.R. Harris's soap bowls. While it looks good, it seems a bit unpolished. So after I finish this soap (in a decade or so), I’m considering sanding the bowl and adding a few coats of varnish to enhance its appearance. The soap’s fragrance is a blend of Knize Ten’s leathery cologne and the natural scent of beech wood, which I find pleasing.

Before I placed my order I looked long and hard online to find out what was in the current version of this soap. I didn't have much luck. So, for the record, the label on the shrink-wrap lists the following ingredients: Potassium palmate, sodium palmate, potassium stearate, potassium palm kernelate, aqua (water), sodium stearate, sodium palm kernelate, glycerin, parfum, palm kernel acid, CI 77891 (titanium dioxide), pentasodium pentetate, tetrasodium etidronate, cocamidopropyl, betaine, sodium chloride, sodium benzoate, benzyl benzoate, benzyl salicylate, coumarin, eugenol, isoeugenol, limonene, linalool, alpha-isomethyl, ionone, hexyl cinnamal, hydroxycitronellal

Decided to pull out my Varlet this morning and it was a pleasure to use. A luxurious soft cloud for my face shave.
The Winning razor might be my GOAT razor. It's just crazy smooth and efficient while looking good.
