Seaforth! Fleur de France (Spearhead) fougère Friday
Shave 7 ・ 112 g left

A musky fougère with a fair amount of rosemary, Fleur de France may be a bit much for daily use, but when it comes around in the rotation every month or so, it’s delightful. Bright and summery, it reminds me of browsing the bookstalls in Paris just as the chestnuts come into bloom. Instead of searching for a cologne that matches the deep herbal scent, I uncorked something that complements it. Chanel’s Cuir de Russie is a classic take on leather embellished with a rich bouquet of florals and just a pinch of tobacco. Starting out the flowery bits probably smell better on my wife than on me, but after thirty minutes it dries down into an elegant leather that perfectly suits an evening stroll through the 8e arrondissement.

Tommy, how you like this one? Any comparisons?
Neroli, u & I are usually on the same scent page - and I really like this one. The Ylang-ylang really comes forward on this one per my sniffer, as well as the benzoin/labdanum. It is a very floral Fougère. The benzoin and vanilla do give it a xmas feel. Smelled better lathered rather than off the puck.

From Will : Fougère Classique is a richly floral, stunningly opulent assemblage of lavender, oakmoss, coumarin, bergamot, geranium, jasmine, ylang ylang, benzoin, labdanum, patcuouli, heliotrope, musk, and vanilla.

A nice addition to the fougère library-but the real driver for me was another jar of the 'bus.'... Tommy's favorite base.

Thanks, and I shouldn't have asked! Last thing I need is more $#!+, and I can't see how I don't get it now

Razor: Gillette Tech ??

Brush: Vintage Unbranded/Tuxedo
Soap: Colgate Cup

Fragrance:
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1,503

Gillette Travel Set my dad got as a gift for his 21st trip around the sun when he was stationed with the Air Force in England. It was missing the razor so I bought this "Made in England" Tech. Probably the wrong one and would like to know from the Tech Gurus what this one is and what the correct one would be. This one is a rough specimen, Made in England aluminum base plate and handle but heavier top cap with the Gillette logo. Also if anyone knows what brush may have come in these sets ? Thanks for any help !! Have a great day !!
