What soap/cream did you use today?

Mirto di Sardegna (Saponificio Varesino) lemon cologne

I don’t know how I’ve managed to pass nearly a year without touching this fine soap. One of the pitfalls of a bloated rotation, I guess. Mirto di Sardegna is all vegetal but it makes a tallow-like lather that drinks up water like a dog in August. And it smells good, too. I’m getting lots of lemon and myrtle with some green leaves thrown in. Finding a fragrant companion wasn’t hard. Cedrat Boise has the same lemon & dark berry accord on top with lots of wood and a pinch of vanilla underneath. Mrs Bouki has both thumbs up. Jubilation in the land.

Nice notes Bouki I'll have to check out that fragrance. I get a lot of that white mossy facet when I use Mirto. It's one of my favorites along with Tundra Artica. I used the beta 4.3 shave soap yesterday for my shaved and paired it with the PAA Green Ray synthetic brush. Really nice combo for my skin, smooth and comfortable shave. Cheers everyone
