Would I just want this scent every morning?  Heck no.  I’m afraid if I used it regularly the magic mind trips it takes me on would become common and this simple scent would lose its charm but for the occasions I do reach for,it I truly enjoy the ride.  And that brush!  40mm behemoth!  Naw, I didn’t use it but I did set a knot in it to gift to my brush making son for a prop at his shows.  I’m actually impressed with the quality of hair in this bulb knot.  No gel which I appreciate.  Good backbone.  Soft face feel.  I may have to get a kilo of cella to actually lather it though.  I just washed it out with detergent.

Dave I don't know about anyone else but I really enjoy your Youtube videos an here's why.  I find them relaxing and they are not sensationalized as some others I won't mention that are popular. I also know you purchase all your products you use in your videos and your not getting free stuff to purposefully give rave reviews.  As a manufacture I've been approached by a few YouTube Shave reviewers that have said, Send me some free goods and I'll give it a good review. Well I don't roll like that. . Also being a former collector of Vintage razors of all types I really enjoy your detailed reviews of some razors that I've either had at one time or have never heard of but find interesting. I know you work hard, have responsibilities at home but know there are people like me that do enjoy and respect the time and effort you put into making these vids my friend.

Anybody feels the same way as I do might want to give a thumbs up to Dave.
Thanks for the kind words Frank, it's greatly appreciated!

Fougère (Martin de Candre) fougère Monday
Shave 23 ・ 1127 shaves left

So far I’ve coaxed twenty-three shaves from only four grams of Fougère. And the lathers weren’t skimpy either. Each made enough for at least three passes. What will it take to dissolve this adamantine soap? Fortitude and constant use. But at the rate I’m going, even if I lather Fougère five times each week, I’ll still be shaving with this soap until January 2026. Great price per shave ratio, but who has the stamina to stick with one soap that long?

AOS Sandalwood as made by Valobra is still my choice between it and the sandalwood they offer now.  I own both and I do like the anise note in the new, but I believe this scent is the one that hooked me and perhaps nostalgia wins the day.  Performance is still just amazing.
