Hey Dave, you're really hitting this one hard! How'd you describe the scent and performance? (Sorry if you've done that a hundred times!!)

Just sawit was getting light and making room in the stash. They pretty much nailed their description. The smokiness is light and could be a little stronger for me but it's a good scent I would replace if not for having so many soaps already.

This scent includes notes of charred woods (cedar, birch, pine), sandalwood, heliotrope, amber, patchouli, leather, musk, and a touch of sweetness of vanilla, coconut, and marshmallow.

The other day I grated a puck of Wholly Kaw King of Oud. Loading now is much easier. Happy with these results, I gave today's jar of La Fougère Parfaite the same treatment, but I upped the ante by adding several twists of powdered menthol. Why? Well, this is a good soap, but the scent is boring. Needs some zing. With luck, the menthol will entice me to use it more.

Thanks Dave! Sounds right up my alley! Charred woods is not something I can ignore in the long run.
I seem to be on a self-imposed but unofficial purchase moratorium at the moment, but this could put that to a grinding halt.
