What soap/cream did you use today?

How do you like Rio Grande? I have used Hoffman's Evil Pumpkin and The Jersey Devil and love both. Was about to order another evil pumpkin and saw this one on his site. I love boozy scents.

Sascoman gave me quite a fright this morning with his combo of Martin de Candre Rose and PAA Atomic Age Bay Rum. Clash of the Titans I thought. But they say rose goes well with just about anything, and bay rum is very short lived. So why not pair them up? After all, opposites attract. Even Sonny and Cher made a good team (at least for a while ). So with a little trepidation I copied Sascoman's shave ... and it was great! In fact, I liked it so much I dumped a few drops of rose essence into my own bay rum. Surprising how much depth and roundness that gives the scent.

It’s a great scent you can use anytime. I usually finish my shave with Bay rum as it pairs well. Robert the owner is a good guy to deal with. Check out some of his releases coming in November. The artwork on his soap labels is fabulous.

Wasn’t sure myself the first time - but decided just go for it - two of my all time favorites - how bad can it be??
