Razor: Masamune
Blade: Feather
Brush: Grizzly Bay “Heavy Metal”
Soap/Splash: B&M Fougere Gothique

My first time using B&M and this scent. Great soap base and I enjoyed this scent. It's complex but it brings me to foggy woods that are damp and the wind is softly blowing a light citrus scent in the air. I love dark, fall scents and this one is amazing!

Thanks for the tips, lads! I had a very good shave with this revived soap. Following your instructions, I grated the soap and gently repacked it. Then I came at it with a different brush, a semi-stiff Semogue 1250. Did it work? Yup. I got a decent proto-lather right on the puck, followed by a voluminous palm lather.

Dave in KY, I wanted to try melting the soap in the microwave too, but I don’t have one any more. Salt air chews them up, so I stopped buying them.

First use. Good cream. Likely to be my go-to travel soap.
