Grooming Department Sandalwood
Nice blend with Sandalwood playing a partnership/duet, not the lead singer.
I make a better lather with the previous base / version. Still trying to learn this new base. I think the water band tolerance is more narrow. I almost broke it down whereas before it was easily pushed forward via multiple brush tip 'wettings'
C U all tomorrow

Tommy,
Are you saying that this is a "new Kairos" base?
Or, are you saying you had the Nobile in a completely different base (not called Kairos)?

It’s easy to make a glossy, slick lather with this soap, and the finish is great, even if it is a bit waxy. My only disappointment is with the scent. It’s too mild. It lasts for a minute and then it’s gone. I had to boost it today with a spritz of Frank’s Mysore Sandal edt. Now that was a good smelling shave.

TommyCarioca, just used a sample of Kairos today, one does need sneak up on hydrating it in my experience.
The lather has a different quality to it that can cause initial caution but in usage it performs top shelf - right there in top 2 artisans.
It quite light, incredibly slick, more cushioned than it would seem and with outstanding post shave. It definitely a tech marvel.
More predisposed to the Mallard base since its latest updates followed by Nai but one cannot deny the new Kairos and KSE incredible breakthroughs.
