Thanks to Neroli, I have a new top shelf reach. Great base- the fragrance to me is a complex resinous sandalwood.
I too hope they make another batch - it is backup worthy!

Absolutely Drenched. (Not saying the soap is overly strong, I think it's just right... but it is all-in on pure resin. And nothing like any "pine tar" soap I've smelled, and although I like many of those, this is in its own lane entirely... no overlap to my nose.)
I sent them an email, asking if there are plans to release again. Toes crossed.
Iliahi Ridge (Talbot) Hawaiian sandal
Shave 1 ・ 114 g left
ʻIliahi is the Hawaiian word for 'sandalwood'. It used to grow plentifully in the hills above our shack. Over the years though, most has been cut down and turned into oil or exported. But from time to time I’ll find a sandalwood tree on one of the trails I hike. Most are scraggly little things that have only been planted within the last twenty years. With luck they’ll grow into large mature trees. They produce a soft, sweet sandalwood oil that’s not as spicy as Australian sandal or as rich as Mysore oil, but still, it’s nice. I’m told that Talbot Shaving will donate a small amount of their profits to a group that re-plants sandalwood on Oahu for each tub of tub of Iliahi Ridge that’s sold. Kinda feel good about shaving to save the planet.
