What soap/cream did you use today?

Rose, Patchouli & Cedarwood (Mike’s Natural Soaps) woody floral

This doesn’t have the brightness or depth of Shawn Maher’s Yuzu Rose Patchouli, but it lives in the same neighborhood, and it’s just about as fun to use. RPC is a dark earthy rose served up with a few slivers of cedar and a big handful of patchouli. The rose is actually rose geranium, but its nice enough to include in today’s Thu•rose•day celebrations.

Grooming Dept La Rosa Profunda

Last week's Thu-Rose-Day shave was cancelled on account of life happened.  (The fridge/freezer went belly up. )  So my maiden voyage with La Rosa Profunda was postponed until today.  The soap took a lot of loading and drank a lot of water, but it delivered an excellent shave.  To my nose, the scent is mild but pleasant both on the puck and the brush. 

Scent Notes: Grapefruit, Clementine, Rose, Jasmine, Ho Wood, Sandalwood, Incense Accord.
