No photo but I used an old tub of Barrister and Mann Adagio. The menthol helps during August.

Wars sensitive shaving cream (made in Poland)

Lather is excellent, scent is nice and clean like a fresh cologne. To my nose it is similar to Ach Brito's Mogno.[Image: 239432fe37a970c3ce57b83cf3fbdadd.jpg]

Sometimes your spreadsheet reveals something curious. Today, for instance, I learned that there are as many soaps in my rotation as there are days left in the year. What better time to begin a grand round, visiting each soap between now and New Years.

For the sake of constancy amid all this change, I’ll try to stick with one razor, Karve’s Overlander. I’ve heard such good things about it, but I must confess my results so far have been mediocre. Let’s see if I can figure it out.

The Brass Overlander didn't impress me but the Aluminum hit a sweet spot for me. Unusual as I generally prefer heavier razors. Looking forward to your running thru your stock of soap.

Coates is a good one and has been defunct now for years.  Don’t know if the guy who found some still has it for sale but Tea Tree was my favorite.

I looked not too long ago and the website was dead. Glad I stocked up on them a few years ago (although I rarely remember to use them, sadly). I'll have to pull them out soon. Incredibly slick AND protective. I like Tea Tree a lot too. Also the Lavender is nice, kinda dark-ish, not floral.
