Tonka Bean (Ethos) sweet wood
Shave 1 ・ 137 g left
Tonka Bean has a sweet-nutty-woody aroma that lands somewhere between rum and marzipan. I think that almondy smell leads some shavers to pick up notes of cherry as well, since cherry and almond are so frequently combined in shaving soaps. You smell one and you automatically start thinking of the other. I get the cherry part too, but it’s not very pronounced, at least not in the lather itself. Mostly what I get is a feeling of sitting in the fale on a woven grass mat while the rain patters down.
