Me too.  Dunhill 965 and Balkan Sobranie 759 were go to pipe tobaccos.  Latakia with its heavy smoke note has to be used very judiciously.

I wonder if Frank could find something made from Perique, that unique Louisiana tobacco from St. James Parish to add to this scent.  Just a thought.

Perique a unique if less than favourite fragrance but it does have a loyal following amongst the cognoscenti

Mags are in bloom here in the Bluegrass!  Pic from walking my 12 yr old Shelty last night. Wunnerful fragrance [Image: d229ffd9e19a90061f2f87946668b981.jpg][Image: deba17fc2f19321d3678f2bdf26601b5.jpg]

Have 3 huge 10+m magnolia trees in the yard. The scent they waft is triggering being a good Yankee. Would remove them in a heartbeat were it not for CB. Adding insult to injury, employed full time raking the leaves and petals having the properties of cheap thin tin

Taylor of Old Bond Street - Tobacco Leaf cream

This scent caused a reaction to my skin and nose brain. Oh well.

Look closely at the first couple frames, you'll see his face between the trees.

Fleur de France turns my lips numb. Really. First they feel sort of hairy, and then they go kind of frozen. It feels like the topical anesthetic the dentist puts on your gums before he pumps you full of lidocaine. The sensation disappears as soon as I rinse, so I’m not too worried. But it’s odd. Have you ever had anything like this?
