ETHOS Mandarino Fumo - whole lotta Fumo, little if any Mandarino.

For tobacco leaf lovers this may be the best rendition of a tobacco curing house that can be found.  It's a bomb too.  Spritzed both wrists last night and it still there after 3 washings.  Typically great ETHOS soap base.

Come on Dan you can’t smell the Mandarin on the opening? Maybe because I’ve had my nose on this blend from the beginning I can smell them immediately but as we all know with very powerful middle and base notes the citrus’s will exit first. I will also add without them this would be and even more potent longevity monster than it is. I’ll tell you guys what neck batch I make in the fall I’ll add a higher percentage of the Mandarin EO’s but I’m betting they don’t stand a chance against the other notes in this blend.

Thanks for the feedback.

Nothing raw, wild, barbaric about this cream, as the name and the lid artwork suggest. It is vegan, so the maker did not squeeze the life out of any animal to get their fat. The scent is nice and soft, similar to a women handcream, which is nice. The lather caresses your chicks. It turned out rather light and fluffy. I believe "high structure" is the correct technical term to describe it. Slickness was good. When the shave was over it left a residual invisible thin layer of lubrication which did not let go easily and took several face rinsing iterations to go completely. All in all, a good shave.

Me too.  Dunhill 965 and Balkan Sobranie 759 were go to pipe tobaccos.  Latakia with its heavy smoke note has to be used very judiciously.

I wonder if Frank could find something made from Perique, that unique Louisiana tobacco from St. James Parish to add to this scent.  Just a thought.
