ETHOS Mandarino Fumo - whole lotta Fumo, little if any Mandarino.
For tobacco leaf lovers this may be the best rendition of a tobacco curing house that can be found. It's a bomb too. Spritzed both wrists last night and it still there after 3 washings. Typically great ETHOS soap base.
Amen Brother! I like your scent description better than mine, and the EDP is certainly the gift that keeps on giving - a delightful fragrance, with all the sillage and projection that Frank promised/warned us about. I really think Frank outdid himself on this one.

Personally, I enjoyed it but was hoping for a little more mandarin. This is very heavy on tobacco which overwhelms the mandarin. From what I recall, Burley and Virginia. Burley in particular is very strong. I guess I am glad Latakia was not part of the blend. Also, a type of tobacco with some spicy notes might have been used in place of some of the burley to good effect.
Seaforth! Fleur de France (Spearhead) flougère
Shave 2 ・ 107% left
Some thoughts on today’s shave: (1) Fleur de France isn’t as thirsty as most state-of-the-art high-tallow soaps, but if you load about three grams, you get an excellent lather. (2) The Merkur 15C has a knurled handle, but it’s still a slippery little eel. (3) Lilac Vegetal smells a whole lot better once you get it out of that reeking plastic bottle it comes in. A few months ago I dumped mine into a big glass lemonade bottle and set it in the back of the closet. Yesterday I uncorked it and discovered that most of the skunky note was gone. What remains is a nice lilac scent that dries down into a sweet floral bouquet. It lasts a good twenty hours on me and makes my wife jealous the whole time.
