Clearly you have not been lamenting enough of how much of a sacrifice you have been making Big Grin

Maya (Tallow & Steel) the Yucatán
Shave 7 ・ 73% left

I can’t remember this shave. This morning things went a little wonky, and that kept me from focusing on the important stuff, like shaving. But now everything has calmed down, and I’ve found a minute to survey the results. It looks like my nose and ears are still attached to my head, so I guess the shave was a success. And although I can’t say this was the closest I’ve ever been scraped, my hide’s still in good shape thanks to the ample amount of tallow and superfats in this soap. Maya is thick enough to support some mindless buffing.

The only thing that’s got me concerned is how fast I’m tearing through this soap. Though it's old, it's still fairly soft, and I’m hogging down over four grams each shave. True, I get a full-blown luscious lather every time, but I’ll be surprised if there’s more than thirty shaves in this pot.
