What soap/cream did you use today?

GD Kairos SE 2022 Omnia - excellent soap, probably best I ever used!

Well that's good news as I have both Omnia and Ousia incoming!  Pasion, the initial SE offering, is so very nice I had a hard time resisting the two new ones (Omnia & Ousia) just released.  I should create a whole new thread entitled "Damn Fine Lack of Restraint" but then when I get over to read the "Damn Fine Restraint" thread all I see is a bunch of guys bragging, sotto voce, about all their new purchases.  Truly hilarious.  A second such thread would be superfluous.  Moreover, it might be seen as a brazen attempt to muscle into territory now securely occupied by such stalwarts as Dave in KY, Bouki, mrdoug et al.  No, not I.

Sunny and mild…..spring is in the air….at least for today….perfect for Ethos Fresco…..

Imperial Rum (Phoenix & Beau) gentle bay rum

These Phoenix & Beau lathers work well for me. They soak up lots of water and get very slick, but at the same time, they remain protective, so the whiskers disappear, but the skin stays intact. When the scraping was done, I slapped on some Barberry Coast bay rum aftershave and got only a warm feeling. Good shave.

How's it smell? Well, usually the fragrance of your typical lather isn't around long enough to really go through lots of stages. It stays smelling pretty much the same all the way through the shave. But today, I got all sorts of notes out of this Imperial Rum. It started off smelling like rum & coke. That was followed by a wave of spicy bay. And it finished smelling of resin. All that within ten minutes or so. Mild but impressive.
