How do you like it?  I had it awhile back and found the scent to be overwhelming.  It gave me a slight headache every time i took a sniff.  The scent was really nice but just too strong for me.
Sounds like the exact reason I ought to get a jar

Just to be clear, the overwhelming part for me wasn't the scent strength of the soap.  There was just something in it that would give me a headache.  I've had the same thing happen with one other soap (Arko).  If you are looking for a dark scent that is a 9+ on the scent strength scale, I would suggest MT Black Beer No 1.  It may be dark but it is a well-blended scent that, after a few sniffs, you really start picking out the scent profile and can appreciate it even more.

Another lightning-quick shave this morning.  Ten swirls on a dry puck with a damp synthetic and about 90 seconds of face-painting...

I don’t know what the timeline is for a vintage soap.  For an auto, general consensus is 20 years.  Clothing is considered vintage from 20 to 100 years.  (Some of my Pendleton Jackets ar thus well into vintage).  Milk?  I suppose vintage milk would have been new last Wednesday?  But soap?  I’d have never thought this AOS Sandalwood tallow from Valobra would ever be discontinued, let alone vintage.   But here I am, swirling an amazing brush atop a tin that used to contain 2 pucks but is down to about one now, on a soap that hasn’t been sold in ages.  It’s still smelling fantastic and it hasn’t lost a step in performance.  Valobra is gone.  Tallow soaps don’t enjoy the elite status they had a decade ago.  And although AOS still offers a veg puck in Sandalwood, (very nice by the way), they no longer offer tallow.  With all the new offerings, this one still pleases me.
