Boukis hardening observation is accurate. Some of the GD soaps may not be cured enough near new release /purchase. The older picks are definitely harder and IMHO better ready for usage. I just delved into a new puck last week. I am a bloomer and the jar became 'soap soup' ....really soft... like a new fresh TOBS cream. I am drying her out and curing my new Mallard pux.

Boys, I communicated with MO today regarding this post. Mo's pux are cured - and he advised against blooming his formulas / base.  Good advice that I will heed. My favorite all time scent [la aventurra] is airing out and filling my bathroom with its green bitter accord. Marvelous! It is about back to croap consistency. Not to worry as I have 7 backups.

Thanks for doing that Brother!  My method for loading the Verbrannt was the same throughout the tub, especially over the last couple of weeks.  Bloom the soap while I shower, load with a 24 or 26 mm (mostly 26's) for 15 to 20 seconds, and then face-lather for anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes.  Face-lather time always depends on what I have going on and whether I need to leave in a hurry.  Like you though, i'll file GD soaps in the "don't bloom" category from now on.

Considering every other soap I possess is in a box in the basement, I will soon find out Big Grin

Wow. The scale confirms this soap is melting away like an ice cream cone on asphalt. In six shaves I’ve managed to go through 51 grams of Le Vétiver. You’d think that much soap would have left me standing in lather up to my high knee, but fact is, it’s made no more than any other soap. Granted, the lather is rich and good shaving, but it’s not gushing all over the place. So what’s going on? Where did all the soap go? I suspect it simply evaporated. You see, Grooming Dept lists water as the first ingredient. It's a very juicy soap. I guess a lot of it just dried up and disappeared over the last year while this tub sat in storage. I will be curious to see if this puck keeps up its stunning rate of dissipation now that so much water has dried off.

That was my experience as well.  It will be interesting to see what happens with your remaining puck.  I left the lid off mine for the past two weeks.  I typically let a soap dry overnight before putting on the lid.  Since I was using this every day, the lid simply stayed off the whole time.  Plus, it was really nice having the Verbrannt scent fill the bathroom Smile

I chose the MdC out of curiosity to see how big of a dent I can put in the soap.  Plus, I highly doubt I'll run out of soap and be forced to sort through boxes to find a replacement Smile

I’ve recently bought two Mcd soaps. Been using them everyday for about 2 weeks now.
I’m absolutely addicted !!
Can’t believe I never bought them sooner, like…years sooner!
If I had to choose one soap to use forever, it would be MDC Argumes! Stunning.

Looking forward to seeing your lather shots with MDC.

How is the scent strength on Agrumes?  Typically I'm not a big Citrus guy, especially when the scent strength is 6+. But lighter citrus is always nice and refreshing

I’d say possibly between 5 - 6 strength.
Not over powering at all.
Just a stunning soap!
