It’s still too damn cold…Needed a fast shot of springtime….Ethos Lavender v1 did the trick! Fantastic shave…and oh my…that wonderful scent. Seriously…the best lavender scented shave soap or cream I’ve ever tried.

This tub may have one more use in it but I doubt I'll be able to get 2 more

Sandalwood (D.R. Harris & Co. Ltd.) sandal cologne
Shave 1 ・ 107 g left

Along with Australian sandalwood, you get eucalyptus, camphor, clove, bergamot, neroli, ylang ylang, patchouli and rosemary. In other words, this is a full-blown sandal cologne, full of nuances and unexpected twists. I especially liked the camphor and patchouli. They reinforced the wood's oriental flair. But this Sandalwood is also quite mild. I just about lost track of it in today’s lather. Just to remember what I'm using, I may have to get the matching cologne.

I have never used Cella.  Going to have to remedy that.

Read such wildly varying takes on this soap re performance. Can't help but question whether the formulation is particularly sensitive to local water differences

It could be the difference in water although I've never had any trouble with the water here with any soap like I have read about some people have. It could just be the difference in expectations people have from their soap as well. It also could just be that Lip shave so fast he doesn't have an issue with it LOL. By the third pass it is just dried out on my face and does not have a good post shave feel for me. This after I've gotten it as wet as I dare take it without pushing it past its water band. That's my take on it and just my opinion. I'm not new to this and do know how to lather soaps. I wish everybody the best with whatever they enjoy!
I get it!  I’ll slow down.  Hahaha.  Shaving so fast sparks fly.
