Saponificio Varesino Felce Aromatica

One of the four non-tallow soaps I really like. Great green scent on this baby as well.

C U all tomorrow

First time with a Wickam soap as I recall and new is always fun. The scent is Parma Violet.  The high structure lather comes easy and is very slick and protective.  Yes.  This is a solid soap.  Soap consistency is semi-hard and I do like that.  I’m going to guess though that as easy as the lather starts it’ll be an issue with under loading.  So the shave was fantastic but that’s where the fun ends.  The scent is a little heavy on the grandmas-purse side of things and the label art seems a bit more feminine than it needs to be.  This is a floral blast.  I like florals but I like to “whiff” them and not have hand to hand combat with em.  This one will be gifted to a daughter and I’ll move on.  Great soap though.

Yeah, that was one I held onto for a long time thinking maybe someday the scent will grow on me. I wanted to like it, but just too synthetic and one-dimensional.
We need a better Violet! (GFT isn't without faults either. Razorock, same.)
