What soap/cream did you use today?

Without doubt the single best soap I have ever used including the ultra premium priced competitor you cite. Hopefully some day will be able to afford a jar but at least was generously sampled by 3 people on this forum - thank you guys!

I received a sample of Ethos Vanilla Safi & used it for the second time tonight. This is an absolute top-tier elite soap. Ethos has been my #1 soap base for over a year now, & Frank has created an absolute masterpiece with his Vanilla Safi. Rich full scent leads into a beautiful lather, cushion, & slickness. And the post shave was also elite, leaving my face well cared for, moisturized, but not oily or waxy. Frank, you've hit it out of the park, my friend!!!!!!!

Used ETHOS Vanilla tonight in my beautiful shave bowl. It cost over $1000 less than a new release from another soap maker ( Think glass Container with a corked top) and 1/2 of an almond size gave me enough lather for a 3 pass shave plus a lot of extra to share. Great cushion and slickness for my Gillette single ring to get BBS. Left with a soft, non greasy post shave feel.

Thank you my friends for the encouraging words! I’m glad you are enjoying it. The Vanilla Safi was certainly a labor of love,, batch management and definitely patience as the Madagascar Vanilla Bean oil infusion took a little over 8 months to complete. Knothead shave did an awesome job on the custom bowls. I’m probably going to make it again sometime down the road but to many other projects I’m working on so it will be a while.

Wow, this is the second brush that has gained my attention.  Very nice.

The past week was spent on the road and the travel shaves were fantastic with WSP Dragon's Blood, a 28mm SynBad, and my back-up 6S.  But it's always nice to get back to the variety of the den.  What's even nicer is arriving home to find a few new soaps    Some glowing reviews a couple weeks ago on this thread led me to purchase a Lisa's Premium.  And, since it was on sale and I'd never tried it, I picked up a tub of Blue Devil Shave Co Vetiver.  But the final tub was the one I was most excited to try and was used it for yesterday afternoon's shave.  Thanks to a generous offer from vtmax, i was finally able to try Oaken Lab.  The scent on this one is a rose-forward scent which is reminiscent of CL Rose Santal.  The soap loaded easily and the lather was simply amazing!  To use Lipripper660's phrase, it's one of those "hug your face" lathers.  Post-shave was great and I look forward to using this one more often.

Thank you. I’m very happy with it. I’ve had several handles from Turn N Shave & am quite impressed with his work. And Elite Razor has, IMHO, some elite knots.
