What soap/cream did you use today?

Great scent.  Do you know if the Omnibus Taiga matches the scent note for note?

Not a clue, Matt. Frankly, I miss the whole B&M Latha line.

I DO NOT LIKE ROSE SCENTED ANYTHING…. Like Wholly KAW CRC this one does a weird twist on Rose too! I can’t get enough of this scent, should have secured 2 splash, I smelled it on my Brides hoodie.  Why do they have to use our swag? They’ve got an entire bathroom closet of lotions and potions. TommyCarioca I know you don’t like rose either, this might be worth a whiff….

The Henson AL13 razor works very well with a wide variety of blades, but one it really struggles with is Big Ben. Even Dark Lime’s luscious lather couldn’t take the rough bite out of this blade. After two uncomfortable passes I binned it and reloaded with a Bic Chrome Platinum. Now that was smooth shaving. I could just barely feel the blade, so I all my attention was focused on enjoying the lime fragrance. Of all the lime soaps I’ve tried, this is one of a very few that doesn’t smell like hard candy. Maybe that's because Meißner Tremonia makes it with lime juice as well as essential oils? The puck is as black as pitch, but the lather smells bright, rich, and authentic.

Ah RATS!  I’ve been out of Mystic Waters Poggio dei Pini for a while and decided it was time to get some more.  Well, here it is but shoot, it’s not the same.  The soap I loved was dry.  Dry like toast.  Dry and herbaceous.  Like my beloved Jim Sage Mountains in August.  This one doesn’t have that sun-bleached conifer scent nor the brushy/herb scent of plants withering for lack of a drink.  What it does have is an artificial pine scent with a light floral note.  Disappointed?  Certainly the scent has left me saddened.  Performance is perfect just as you’d expect.  So what will I do?  I’m going to leave the top off of the tub for a month or so to see if the flirty floral will leave and if some of the other notes will mellow.  Man I hope there is a dry bush living in that tub somewhere.  But if not, this one has a pleasant scent but due to the disappointment will not stay long here.  SHUCKS!  As BB King sings, The Thrill Is Gone.
