Barrister and Mann, Vespers (Excelsior)

Always a great pleasure to use Vespers. And Excelsior base works beautifully. This time I gave it a LOT of water. Insane water tolerance and absorbtion capacity, it took it with no effort and made it look so easy. [Image: 10a245ea2f13bea4cce3b4fd4620566d.gif][Image: d1b630733b74379a5337c9bf55b07350.jpg]

Vetiver in general doesn't get enough press. Outside of this little world of hobbyists, vetiver isn't well loved amongst the general public users we have. Black Velvet does not sell well to our "regular dudes". We keep it for all you guys that would cry rivers of tears if we stopped.

I agree @domimir

That’s why I made it not smell like a traditional Vetiver forward scent, as I’m not a big Vetiver fan myself as far as a Vetiver forward colognes goes.  Using it in blends is a different story.

Caswell-Massey - Number Six

I wondered who made this soft soap for Caswell-Massey... I also wondered separately (recently in this very thread) if The Holy Black soap base is any good.
Now I have answers for both.

Great scent.  Do you know if the Omnibus Taiga matches the scent note for note?
