“Barbershop” is such a subjective term. You state “citrus” and we all know the sort of scent we can expect. Barbershop, not so much. In fact I went a few years thinking I didn’t like barbershop scents because the first two I’d had experience with were not pleasant for me. Suffice it to say that in the intervening time I have come to understand the vagaries of the genre and have several that are favorites. WSP Barbershop falls in the “top notes” arena for the classification and leans heavy on a citrus top. I wouldn’t call it lilting, like Local Gents California Barber, because there is a good base of things going on here too (oak moss etc), but it is light and bright and pretty stinking good. Performance is excellent. Scent strength is about 7/10. Why we don’t see it more than we do? Likely those small tins the soap comes in. As you can see, I generally move WSP products into a wider container.
