But to flake a notch of bone out was a thump for sure.  But really, what’s the point of skiing though if you don’t point em downhill and let em run?  Rag-dolling is just part of the gig. (And it had to happen right during this most excellent period of deep powder). 50 inches since the 30th at Grand Targhee.

Seriously unbelievable timing. We've been getting like 10 inches per day for nearly 2 weeks straight it feels like. I've been telling everyone that they can thank me for the snow. Like washing the car, then it rains on the way home.

Is crushed a real diagnosis, haha? They have been saying compression fracture... clearly with some fragments nearby in the x-ray.
Ribs are still the worst in terms of pain, though not broken as far as we know.
Need to wear a back/torso brace for 3 months and do PT. No surgery, thankfully. Ski season over. Getting up from laying or sitting is still very painful and difficult and that's the extent of my workouts for the time being. (Don't tell the doc or mom I shoveled the deck earlier.)
Good to hear no surgery Nero

Ethos Dragonsbeard version 3 F base

The 100% natural aroma blend combines authentic Agarwood Oil and Oud Resin with essential oils of East Indian Sandalwood, Amber, Tonka Bean Butter, Madagascar Vanilla Bean Infusion Oil, and White Rose Absolute.

How often does one encounter real oud and authentic sandalwood in a shaving soap?  Thanks for the inspiration Dave in KY and Dragonsbeard.

For the past couple years Shannon's has been my Jan 1 soap of choice.  But something was just calling for Laugar Skogsra today.  Paired up perfectly with Stirling Gin & Tonic AS.
