Maybe you need to usurp the two kings until you know what your dealing with Bouki ?

Edit: ... Or the obvious answer: send an email to Noble Otter. Lol

Wow, mrdoug, that was an interesting thread on why soaps may turn pink. Thanks for your research! And thanks for your sane advice. Maybe I'll send a note to Noble Otter to see if they know what's going on with my tub of Two Kings.

Thanks, Tidepool! Yours looks immaculate. Mine has a pinkish tint and a slightly off smell. May be time to retire this one.

Just got a reply from Cody at Noble Otter regarding the pinkish hue of my tub of Two Kings: "Absolutely no worries. Fragrance does weird things to the color of soap if you don't add things to prevent it. There is nothing wrong with it all, it's just changing colors as the soap ages with the fragrance."

I posted a while back showing the tub of my Ethos LAvender. Well, a month or more later I'm still working on it. Superb world-class soap & long-lasting!!!
Today's soap: Ethos Lavender, of course.

Wonderful news Bouki. Now it's a good soap AND colored for Valentine's day in February.

Always find the bright side. Lol.

Agreed, this isn’t a FUNK Oud.  Have you tried, LPL Oud? I can’t get past that scent.  Performance is on point tho.

Khalifa is stand alone, I’ve seen comparisons to other soaps in his line regarding scent. I’ll keep that opinion to myself this round.  Khalifa is stand alone in scent, it’s close to Black Afgano, not quite, but as close as it’s going to get in soap and splash…….it’s a performer whichever base you choose. I have/had 3 bases and all perform

Today, not only did I shave in spirit... I almost became a spirit this morning.

As much pain and discomfort that I'm in, I'm counting my blessings.

Caught unbelievable speed on a steep pitch and turned sideways to try to shed some speed before hitting a lip on the slope. Next I knew I was paragliding off the face of the slope at mach 3 - sideways - and when I came back down to earth after several seconds and many vertical feet, my lower back "broke my fall". Then got sent off another lip and a monster yard sale (skis and poles everywhere, racing me down the steep pitch) and slid down the pitch for another 60 yards just in ski boots.

Not only have I never done that, I've never seen one half this intense or of that distance and duration.

All of that was right next to the treeline, so as I said, I'm counting my blessings. Easily could have had many more complications...or worse.

Had to get tobogganed down to the base. Couldn't stand up.

Got to the ER and diagnosed with a compression fracture at my second lumbar. Serious pain at the ribcage and right leg.

Stomach was upset all day from the trauma (or concussion possibly) so didn't eat anything or take anything for the pain till 8.5 hours later. Just Ibuprofen. Won't even get the hydrocodone prescription filled. Nurse just wouldn't shut up till I took the paper from her. Whole other topic.

If I shaved today, it would have been AOS Rose Absolute. But unfortunately, I can't lean over the sink or barely raise my right arm. Still counting blessings.

Cheers
I’m still catching up here…
Wait what? You didn’t have a GoPro on your helmet?
Falling and being intact after is a good thing, glad you’re ok!
You do know you’re going to have to get back up there right?

Yes. That Khalifa..... Mmmm mmmm good. Great performer.
You and Nero got me hooked on his base. Never smelt the LPL. And that Black Afghano - performance is stellar. The dry down is addictive.
