One benefit of having a daughter who shaves old school is your Christmas gift is a new soap and aftershave. Yep, my daughter gifted me Stirling's Christmas Eve and it is awesome. Pine and fir? Yep. Vanilla and cranberry? Yep. And then there is clove and cinnamon. What? Cinnamon? But Lip, you know cinnamon lights you up! And I knew she was going to get this one back but I used it and there was zero reaction to the cinnamon so hurray for me, I get to use a soap bearing the cinnamon I love.

It's amazing the olfactory difference the size of the bathroom makes. Quartet in the smaller bath hit me with rosemary and then whiffs of oakmoss and vanilla through the shave with a renewed delight. I'm really proud of this covid creation. So good.

I don't think there is enough cinnamon oil there to cause a fuss for most.
In fact, this brings up a conversation this morning with RayClem . I never thought of it that way, but he's right... The complex mixes can certainly allow a scent note you may not get along with at a tolerable level. Kinda cool though, imo.
In case I didn't say it, Happy Christmas to you Lipripper.
