I salute all of you who have ever managed to finish a tub of shaving soap. It’s been years since I’ve seen a doughnut hole, let alone the bottom of a clean container. But today I stumbled on a DFS thread for products that other shavers have done and dusted. Empty tins and bottles everywhere. It was inspiring. I hit the Like button a lot. If I ever hope to join these illustrious ranks, I’m going to have to start gobbling down some of my older soaps, especially those with backups. Where to start? Well, I’ve already notched thirty shaves into this puck of Stella Alpina … shouldn't be much longer before it gives out ... maybe only forty more waiting for me. Bear with me, friends. You may be seeing a lot of the same soaps in the next few months.

AlanH81 was kind enough to send me a generous sample of Tundra Artica soap and packet of balm.  It’s amazing.  The Agar in it is a variant I’ve not schmelt before.  Very complex, in addition to the Agar, it’s Orangey/Amber/Patchouli-ish

I’ll give it another go again late Sunday.  This may finally be the SV I like. I haven’t been keen on the few I’ve tried. Anyone use this on the reg?

This scent, but in bath soap form, was one that surprised me as well! A very different agar, to the point I was baffled when I checked the scent profile. I’ll be adding another bar next time I need to make free shipping on an order Big Grin great performance and long lasting just like their shave soaps.

Ariana and Evans - Amber Rose (Kaizen)

Decent enough scent, certainly won't be categorized as elegant. Kinda has a soda effervescence to it (not sure what from) and some happy red fruits (is it Cherry Crush soda?). I once described the scent as "stripper", haha, right TC? I kinda wish they'd bring back the old label, if ya know what I mean Big Grin

A few inches here and many inches where it matters. Keep it coming, please!
