Have been contemplating this soap but concerned with mint. Is the mint content really a wallop?  Fear the mint will quite troublesome for my damaged and sensative skin. Otherwise, Lost Souls is quite appealing in scent profile.

HighSpeed  Since I don't have any OSP AS my question for you is how strong is it (scentwise) and scent duration?    Huh

Dan, when I look at the list of ingredients, I don't see mint listed. I got that wrong. What gives this scent its chill is probably the tea tree oil. It's noticeable, and cool, but not intense like a mentholated soap.
  • Aloe Vera Juice, Stearic Acid, Grass Fed Beef Tallow, Duck Fat, Organic Shea Butter, Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Kokum Butter, Hemp Butter, Organic Glycerin, Potassium Stearate, Sheep’s Milk, Camel Milk, Sodium Hydroxide, Grass-Fed Bison Tallow, Organic Grapeseed Oil, Argan Oil, Rose Hip Oil, Oil, EOS Complex, Allantoin, Oat Amino Acids, Silk Amino Acids, Soy/Rice Peptides, Essential Oils of Organic Balsam Fir, Bergamot, Douglas Fir, Clary Sage, Lavender, Rosemary, Cedarwood Absolute, Peppermint, Ylang Ylang, Tea Tree, Organic Pine Needle, Sodium Lactate, Xanthum Gum, Lanolin, Lonicera Capritolin (Natural Preservative) Herbal Extract Blend, Calendula Extract, Fenugreek Extract, Rosemary Extract, Aloe Vera Extract, Comfrey Extract, Milk Thistle Extract.

Thank you for the reply, was my thought as well using same methodology.

Unfortunately, yet concerned based on your description of cooling effect.

Need secure a sample for a few shaves to determine if it usable with my skin

Otherwise, how would you rate it vis-a-vis other fougeres (or whatevers scent family it properly belongs)?

Hi Dan

The cooling comes from the Peppermint in the Aroma blend mostly with the Rosemary and Tea Tree adding a little of their greenery minty notes but it is not as cooling as let’s say the Greenfresh and not even close to the Peppermint shave soap,  which give just a nice chill but I’d not call them Ice cold like for example Terror by B&M which is my favorite freeze my face soap. Lol

Lost souls has the least amount of chill in it of the 3 soaps I make that give a cooling sensation.

Also it’s not a Fougere ( that’s coming early 2022  ) it’s more of a green, woody forest aroma as Bouki and Nero explained in their reviews.  I’ll send you a sample when I ship your Dragonsbeard order so you can try it sir.

Best regards.
