Leviathan (Barrister & Mann) Starbucks

It’s been a couple weeks since I last lathered Leviathan. I went off it when the fragrance got too cloying. But airing it has tamed the scent, and the overly sweet creamy note is gone. All I get now is coffee, leather, and a surprising bouquet of flowers. In fact, Leviathan has become more than tolerable – it’s actually interesting. As the fragrance softens, I may even end up liking it. The performance, on the other hand, has been uniformly spectacular from day one. Omnibus is the glossiest and probably the slickest soap base on my shelf. It drinks and drinks, and the more I work it, the thicker and heavier and sleeker it becomes. This is the kind of soap that makes shaving fun.
