What soap/cream did you use today?

Floris Verbena shaving soap (tallow)

Ethos Lavender Supreme…original formula..One of the only soaps I use that doesn’t require a post shave product.

Ethos - Lost Souls (F base)

I really like this scent, particularly in the splash where the evergreen oils come out nicely. Automatic winner!

I just got a tub of Le Grand Chypre in Omnibus base. It has a butterscotchy smell that I never noticed in the Glissant version of that soap. It’s the same aroma of hot sugar and cream that I smell in my tub of Leviathan. I wonder if this is the the smell of the base bleeding through? Not my favorite part of this otherwise splendid lather maker.
