Not the best soap base ever but hands down the best campfire scent for me. Wish my tin didn't rust like it did. Mine is moved to a Stirling Tub  Happy2

Vétyver 2017 (Martin de Candre) light vetiver

I’m half way through my Soap of the Book experiment, and one thing is becoming clear. A lot of the pleasure in wet shaving stems from trying something new each day. Stick with a soap too long, and at best you start to ignore it. At worst you start to detest it. So I’m going off Leviathan for a spell, not that I dislike it, but I may be slipping in that direction. That warm sugary note really irks me after a while. In its place I may visit some of my favorite vetivers. None of them is too sweet. Most just offer a speck of citrus to liven up the grassy notes. One of the best is this ancient but still remarkable jar of Martin de Candre Vétyver.

I do like Murphy and McNeils soaps and I do like Sauvage cologne, and this Kells soap smells pretty close to Sauvage in the tub but lathered it’s not too close.  Still very pleasant but not Sauvage.  Great shave all the same but I suppose that’s a reason why I’m not really into dupes.  I’ll finish this sample up but won’t buy a tub.  Ouroboros though?  He knocked that one outa the park!

Probably the slickest cream I’ve ever used.

Dang, such a great base.... . Low profile, sour cream, slick, okra snout... . Baby...i love this stuff. Moved firmly in my ring of honor pux. Try it boys. As we all have noted - needs water to get her ready for action.
