Crabtree & Evelyn Almond Oil shaving cream (vintage)

Sagüesera (Barrister & Mann) cedar, violet, coconut, lime, allspice and rum

This one will make you reach for your Panama hat. Sagüesera smells like a walk through the wooden fruit stalls in a Caribbean market. Bright, clear cedar pairs perfectly with stacks of lime and coconut and bunches of flowers. The whole thing is powdered with allspice, which makes everything smell extra good. Plenty of sugary rum gives it a sort of piña colada vibe that may almost convince you there’s some pineapple in the mix. But I wouldn’t call this a boozy scent. It’s just a bright, rich tutti frutti that’s underpinned with enough bitter bits to keep it from going gaggy. Great fun!

It rained in Los Angeles yesterday so I pulled out PAA ck6 Copalli to shave with. The shaves go really well all around using ck6 but more importantly, I can’t tell you how much the scent makes me enjoy my time shaving. Cheers everyone
