Nope, my bride doesn’t give a rip about my ridiculous piles of soaps, creams, and lotions, but it is starting to become cumbersome so I’ve begun using “ok” soaps in the shower, gifting better than ok’s to kids, and focusing more closely on what brings me joy.  I’ve been done for a couple of years now chasing the latest soap base and new artisans just don’t get any attention from me.  Fact is I could get along fine with three or four soaps (most of them sandalwood) and be fine.  In fact, 4 soaps would be exactly 3 more than my Dad would deem important.  I do enjoy variety though I do I’d myself not getting to favorites too often because of the hoard.  Today was Marlborough and the darn puck doesn’t care what brush I throw at it.  It continues to shrink at an almost imperceptible pace.  I want to use it up but I do love the scent enough that I really don’t want it to be gone.
