Sadly, I kinda forget to use it more often. Every time I bring it out for a spin I’m always rewarded with a satisfying shave. GEMs are always a pleasure to use. Especially this one!

Fjellheim Cream v. (Fitjar Islands) juniper, pine, cedar

Fitjar Islands offers samples of their creams in tiny twenty-gram tublets. You can order all four flavors as part of their “Island Hopping” collection. You get Folgefonn (menthol), Fjellheim (conifers), Slåtterøy (‘bay rum’), and Havn (‘heather’). Each sample will give your four or five shaves. The creams are a pleasure to use. They lather with no effort at all. Your only challenge will be getting them onto your face. There’s no way to get a brush into the tiny tub, so you’ll need a spatula or your finger tip to dig some out. I chose a spatula and then smeared a dollop of Fjellheim all over my face. Then I went to work with my brush. The result was a full, rich lather in no time. And the scent? Fjellheim is a mix of conifers. It's mild but clean. I smell like I’ve spent the morning in a lumber yard.
