Today was a sample of Boat Drinks by Stirling Soap Company.
This one was as I expected, but not as I hoped. What you get fragrance-wise is a sugary sweet deep mixed dark red fruity concoction. I can't stand sugary sweet perfumes, so this was a major miss for me scent-wise, but it is hard to call it a failure, as it really *does* conjure up the scent of a nonalcoholic fruity island drink, exactly what the soap is being "marketed" as, per se. Those that love the smell of sugary sweet fruity drinks and want to shave with the same scent will be well-pleased. Performance is typical Stirling, maybe not top tier, but very solid, and providing absolutely outstanding value. As for me, I think I will stick to Stirling's oakmoss heavy soaps like Glastonbury, Varen and Stirling Green.

Thankfully, it's only been one witch hazel that caused me major irritation...but unfortunately, it was the Bay Rum WH

Not yet...but it's on my list after reading a post several days ago that it doesn't have the sting like other bay rums. And I'm sure the a Black Velvet splash will accidentally fall into the cart as well

Why did I use Outdoorsman's Friend?
Because I was going into the office.
I almost NEVER shave in the morning, especially on a work day, but just had to today. Easy and excellent, as expected. Finished with 4711 splash for the lemongrass pairing.
I could see myself shaving tomorrow morning before work.
Had some uninvited guests here recently... But really, they're always invited. Open invitation.
Just, next time, can you NOT eat the friggin' carnations and every other bud in sight?!?! Unbelievable.
And the cactus flower I posted a couple days back is already gone, I wonder who coulda done that.
A few days back, I starting getting rid of low hanging branches and dead ones... wow I didn't realize the rabbit hole I just opened.
This is not even a worthy teaser... I'll show you a photo of the pile when it's done.
