How did you like the scent?  Can you compare it to anything or give a brief description?  I'm really intrigued by MacDuff's description.

I think it’s pretty true to the description. First off I get raspberry, and then a honey sweetness with some light florals to the end. The vanilla in it is very subtle, but holds the fragrance together with a very mild warm quality. The ginger to me is hardly noticeable but peaks through a little to crisp it up with the raspberry. It’s really, really nice.

Thank you sir!

Off the puck, I'm not super-thrilled with the scent of this one.  However, once lathered, the floral really came through and I thoroughly enjoyed the lather and scent...

The more grey hair I get, the more I like this scent. I used to find myself sniffing it to see if I could tolerate it, but now I stop and sniff bc it's been too long.

Thankfully, no.  But I've only had sensitivities to a couple soaps and it wasn't nearly bad enough for me to never use the soap again.  Unfortunately, I apparently have sensitivities to Bay Rum splashes and witch hazel which is a real bummer as I LOVE the bay rum scents.
Witch hazel? That stinks.

Today was my first use of Mood Indigo by The House of Mammoth…. The actual fragrance is very complex, but the blueberry component was most noticeable to my nose. On first glance a blueberry led fragrance profile soap would seem to be an odd idea, but when mixed with the other ingredients (oud, pepper, vetiver and rum are listed but I can’t single out any of them) it just plain works in a big way. The complex finished product comes off low key, on the fresh side but most of all wholly pleasant and interesting smelling. As to the performance of the soap base? I found the Tusk base to produce extremely dense yogurt-like lather that had superb performance this premiere outing. In short, I love the stuff.

Verbena Cream v. (Esbjerg) rosemary, sage, verbena

Who doesn’t like an old time mystery on a warm, slow Sunday afternoon? One of my favorite classic detectives is Lord Peter Wimsey, the aristocratic creation of Dorothy Sayers. Shell-shocked, seemingly daft, but as clever as a fox, Wimsey was a great fan of the verbena scented bath. His manservant would top off the tub with few drops of verbena oil, and the tart lemony scent would clear his master’s head and reveal solutions to all manner of devious criminal cases. I don’t have any grand mysteries to solve, or any verbena oil on hand, but I do have this fabulous cream, and it has refreshed my balmy brains with its garden of herbal delight.
