Lycanthropy by Southern Witchcraft

This is my first time trying this brand and scent... The soap performance was superb with a very dense, thick lather that provides exceptional cushion, very good slickness and great post-shave feel, but the fragrance on this one is going to be an “acquired taste” for sure... The standout notes were mould and lilac.

Mitchell’s Wool Fat is the epitome of gentlemanly attitude.  The coffret is lovely and distinctive.  The soap, wrapped in pleated paper heartens back to a day where a gentleman’s word was as good as any contract.  The soap scent smells like grooming!  (Floral and wood and understated excellence).  This soap was not meant to be in “rotation” but on a gentleman’s counter and doing daily service.  I need to repent and use it more.

Agreed. Completely. MWF is a fantastic performer. Like you said, it's meant to be used daily. After a few days of daily use, it loads and lathers easier, and provides a delightful creamy lather. Post shave feel? Fuhgettaboutit. It's highly regarded by many, and runs with the big boys in every metric. I need to get a refill ordered...

Mirto di Sardegna v. (Saponificio Varesino) green cologne

I think Mirto smells better when things really get warm. It takes a bit of heat to bring out the best notes. Today was cool and dry, and the lather smelled sort of bland. I searched for the lemon and myrtle as I shaved, but mostly I smelled soap. I can’t fault the product for smelling like what it is. I guess I was just hoping for a little more.
