When I was cleaning up a bit I ran into my tub of Trumpers Violets.  Sure the name sounds sissy but it certainly is not that.  Violets are one of my favorite flowers and are sweet but the sweetness is cut with some wood and I’m sure other things and it settles down into a really nice old-school vibe that I enjoy immensely.  The scent is medium and. Can still smell it at noon.

The clear winner for me was the one yesterday with the same/similar base as the current Floris soaps.

Been quite warm recently, so gotta plan your hours right on the slopes to get the sweet spot (not too firm, not too mushy).

yep. Time to put away the Swix blue and red wax and slather on some yellow.  Always loved the spring sling sunburn!  I don’t get to carve anymore but I still tune skis for kids and grands.  Envy you my friend!

Hardly anything as enchanting as tuning skis, the sounds of filing and deburring, the different smells of pre wax and finish waxes for changing conditions. It a religious experience.
