Wholly Kaw - Timmermann Classic (Siero base. Available at Pasteur Pharmacy) - Today I completed a five day rotation of Wholly Kaw soaps. All presented an excellent experience from ease of lathering through the post shave experience. Would have to say that Timmermann is currently my top dog in the house. The AS splash and balm compliment the soap perfectly. I walked away feeling refreshed, moisturized and smelling pretty darn good imo. Anyway, I ordered a back up tub tonight.

You mean "I would rather have 100 amazing soaps/croaps/creams than 3,000 run of the mill garbage concoctions"
Right?
Rough week. Work tough, the cold snap pushed a varmint or two in our attic resulting in dead squirrel sillage blown throughout the house.
I needed a treat - following Nero and Lip's lead, I purchased some Floris [89, 007's favorite ]. Everything about the shave was first class. Great scent, great lather, packaging and polish the British way. This is a dandy scent - Lavender, bergamot, neroli, geranium, oakmoss, powder, bitter petitgrain, musk, woods- an empire barbershop fragrance!
This is an add to my " office sent - all season inventory"
Lather wise I would put it in the DRHarris - TFS family. Not the same level as Sir Henry, MdC, Saponificio Varesino or Pannacrema non-tallow pucks. But slick and easy with a fresh rinse. This is one of those no-brainer reaches. Can't see how anyone would dislike this product. Great improvement on the old soap formula - it actually makes a slick lather

LOS JABONES DE JOSERRA / Spanish Fern (sample)
Thank You jshaves2554 this scent is unlike anything I’ve ever smelt, schmelt, whiffed.... I’m not sure how to describe it yet... can we send a sample to Bouki I’m sure he has the words!
Jose (or Jose Ramon Blanco Martinez) has around 15-20 different scents. He's been around a long time and he's very popular in Spain. Some of his recent additons (in a new base) have similarity with Dior, Creed and other popular brands. I'll leave to you to discover the best for yourself. Quality is very good - low structure, excellent glide and protection, nice post shave feel. Will not disappoint.
